Ingredients
  

Unsweetened Almond Milk

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 240 ml or milk of choice

Cocoa Powder

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder 7 g

Sweetener

  • 1-2 tbsp allulose, erythritol, or xylitol to taste

Salt

  • pinch pink Himalayan salt

Thickening Agent

  • 1/8 tsp konjac root powder or 1/4 tsp arrowroot/xanthan gum or 1 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions
 

  • Combine almond milk, cocoa powder, sweetener, and salt in a small saucepan. Heat over medium until it begins to simmer, then taste and adjust sweetness.
  • Prepare a slurry by dissolving konjac, arrowroot, or xanthan gum in a little water. Whisk this mixture into the hot chocolate and cook until it thickens to your liking.
  • Alternatively, blend all ingredients (including chia seeds) in a high-speed blender until smooth. Reheat if necessary.
  • Serve hot with whipped cream and keto marshmallows for extra indulgence.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sweetener to your taste. For a creamier texture, blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
