Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

Fish and Seasoning

  • 1 pound white fish fillets cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 ounce taco seasoning packet

Creamy Slaw

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 0.5 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 0.5 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

For Assembly

  • 8 small low-carb tortillas

Instructions

  • Gently pat the fish pieces dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl and toss thoroughly with the taco seasoning to ensure each piece is well coated.
  • For easy cleanup, line your air fryer basket with parchment paper, if desired. Carefully arrange the seasoned fish in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and cooked through. Cooking time may vary based on fish thickness and air fryer model.
  • While the fish is cooking, prepare the creamy slaw. In a separate large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, fresh cilantro, light mayonnaise, and lime juice. Mix everything until well combined.
  • Season the slaw with salt and black pepper to your preference, stirring again.
  • To assemble your delicious tacos, warm the low-carb tortillas slightly. Fill each tortilla with the perfectly cooked fish and a generous spoonful of the creamy slaw.
  • Serve immediately, perhaps with extra lime wedges on the side for an added burst of freshness. Enjoy your simple, healthy meal!
