Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 2 teaspoons sugar (white, brown, or coconut)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your waffle iron as per the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Combine almond flour, sugar, and baking powder in a small bowl and whisk well.
  • In a larger bowl, beat the egg, milk, and melted butter or coconut oil until smooth, then mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Lightly spray the waffle iron with cooking spray and pour about 1/3 cup of batter onto it.
  • Cook until the waffles turn deep golden brown, approximately 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Serve warm with maple syrup or your favorite toppings!
