Instructions
Prepare the dough by mixing butter, eggs, oil, vanilla sugar, baking powder, cornstarch, powdered sugar, flour, and cinnamon until smooth.
Set aside one-third of the dough for the crumble topping; knead the rest and let it rest for about an hour until it rises.
During resting, prepare the apple filling by combining chopped apples, walnuts, sugar, and cinnamon.
Shape the rested dough into small discs, place a spoonful of apple mixture on each, then top with the crumble dough.
Bake at 175°C (347°F) for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown.
Finish with a dusting of powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the amount of cinnamon and sugar to taste. These cookies are best enjoyed fresh!
