Ingredients
  

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 2 tbsp light olive oil
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic (or to your liking)
  • 0.5 tsp salt (or to your liking)
  • 0.5 tsp ground black pepper (or to your liking)

Instructions
 

  • 1. Get Ready: First, gather all your ingredients. Then, warm up your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 2. Slice it Up: Carefully cut off the very bottom of the cabbage so it sits flat on your cutting board. Then, slice the cabbage into nice 1-inch thick "steaks."
  • 3. Arrange and Season: Lay these cabbage slices in a single layer on a large baking sheet or casserole dish. Drizzle them evenly with the light olive oil, sprinkle generously with minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  • 4. Bake to Perfection: Cover your pan or dish snugly with aluminum foil. Pop it into the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the core of the cabbage is super tender and easily pierced with a fork.
