Ingredients
  

Monterey Jack cheese slices

  • 8 slices Monterey Jack cheese about 200g
  • 450 g shaved beef steak
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow onion small, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • to taste salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and peppers; sauté 5-7 minutes until tender and caramelized. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook shaved beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper for 4-5 minutes until browned. Mix with cooked vegetables.
  • Line a tray with parchment paper. Place 4 slices of cheese on a non-stick skillet over low-medium heat until melted and bubbling, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Spoon beef and veggie mixture onto the melted cheese slices. Gently roll each cheese slice around the filling, then let cool slightly to set.
  • Serve warm with optional cheese sauce or keto dip. Best enjoyed hot and fresh.
