- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup white sugar or for a healthier option, substitute with maple syrup or coconut sugar to taste

Prepare the Rice: Begin by thoroughly rinsing the glutinous rice under cold running water until the water becomes clear. Transfer the rinsed rice and 3 cups of water into a medium-sized pot. Place the pot on medium-high heat and bring it to a bubbling boil.
