Ingredients

Martini Ingredients

  • 2 fluid ounces good quality vodka (like Tito's)
  • 0.5 fluid ounce coffee liqueur (such as Kahlรบa)
  • 1 fluid ounce chilled strong espresso or cold brew concentrate
  • 0.5 fluid ounce honey simple syrup (see recipe below, or use agave syrup for a similar healthy option)
  • 3 whole espresso beans Optional, for a festive garnish
  • 0.5 fluid ounce half & half or dairy-free creamer Optional, for an extra creamy finish (like Nutpods)

For Honey Simple Syrup

  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup water

Instructions

  • Craft Your Honey Simple Syrup (if making fresh): In a small pot, gently warm ยผ cup of honey with ยผ cup of water. Stir continuously until the honey is fully dissolved into the water. Remove from heat and let it cool completely. This extra syrup can be stored in the fridge for your next cocktail!
  • Chill Your Glass: For the best experience, place your martini or coupe glass in the freezer for a few minutes while you prepare your drink.
  • Build Your Martini: Fill a cocktail shaker generously with ice cubes. Pour in the vodka, coffee liqueur, chilled espresso (or cold brew), and your cooled honey simple syrup. If you're aiming for a creamier martini, feel free to add the optional half & half or dairy-free creamer now.
  • Shake to Perfection: Secure the lid on your shaker and shake it vigorously for about 30 seconds. You'll notice the shaker getting very cold and a lovely frothy layer forming on top of the liquid โ€“ that's how you know it's ready!
  • Serve with Style: Strain your perfectly frothed espresso martini into your chilled martini or coupe glass. For a classic Christmas touch, gently float three whole espresso beans on top as a garnish.
  • Savor the Season: Enjoy this delightful, energizing, and easy-to-make Christmas cocktail!
