Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Fork
  • Small Bowl
  • Whisk

Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 1 pound fresh pizza dough store-bought or homemade

Cinnamon Streusel

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Vanilla Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk any type
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • 1. Get Ready: First, grab your favorite pizza dough! If it's been chilling in the fridge, let it sit out for about 15-20 minutes to make it easier to work with. While it's warming up, preheat your oven to a cozy 425°F (220°C).
  • 2. Roll It Out: Lightly dust your countertop with a little flour. Now, gently roll out your pizza dough into a nice big circle or rectangle, whatever shape you fancy. Once it's rolled, carefully move it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • 3. Prep the Crust: Take a fork and gently poke holes all over the dough, but remember to leave a small, untouched edge around the perimeter for that perfect crust. Then, brush about 1 tablespoon of the melted butter lightly over the poked dough.
  • 4. Whip Up the Streusel: In a small bowl, combine the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter with the cinnamon, brown sugar, and flour. Mix everything together with a fork until you get a delightful crumbly mixture.
  • 5. Top It Off: Evenly sprinkle your yummy streusel mixture over the buttered pizza dough, making sure to keep that crust edge clear.
  • 6. Bake Away: Pop your dessert pizza into the preheated oven. Let it bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the streusel topping looks bubbly and delicious.
  • 7. Make the Glaze: While your pizza is baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until it's smooth and pourable. If it's too thick, add just a tiny splash more milk; if it's too thin, a little more powdered sugar will do the trick.
  • 8. Drizzle & Serve: As soon as the pizza comes out of the oven, immediately drizzle that sweet glaze all over the warm streusel. Slice it up and serve this easy, delicious treat while it's still warm!

Notes

This dessert pizza is a fantastic way to satisfy your sweet tooth with minimal effort! You can easily adjust the amount of glaze to your preference.
