Ingredients
  

Chocolate Magic Shell Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces dark chocolate 60-70% cacao, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon neutral oil like canola or grapeseed

Crispy Honey Kataifi Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2/3 cup dried kataifi shredded phyllo dough

Dreamy Milkshake Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cold vanilla ice cream custard style for extra creaminess
  • 1/3 cup cold whole milk
  • 2 Tablespoons pistachio cream
  • 1 Tablespoon raw shelled pistachios roughly chopped

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Chocolate Magic Shell Cup: Gently melt the 1.5 ounces of chopped dark chocolate with ¼ teaspoon of neutral oil in a small bowl. Once smooth, pour the melted chocolate into a flexible 16-ounce plastic cup. Tilt and rotate the cup to fully coat the inside with a thin, even layer of chocolate. Immediately place the coated cup upside down in the freezer to chill and harden the shell while you continue.
  • Make the Crispy Honey Kataifi: In a light-colored saucepan, melt 1 Tablespoon of unsalted butter over medium heat. Stir in 1 Tablespoon of honey and ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt until combined. Add the ⅔ cup of dried kataifi, tossing continuously with a spatula for about 5 minutes until it turns a beautiful golden brown and becomes crispy. Remove from heat and spread the kataifi onto a sheet pan or wire rack to cool completely.
  • Blend the Dreamy Milkshake: In a high-powered blender, combine the 1 ½ cups of cold vanilla ice cream, ⅓ cup of cold whole milk, 2 Tablespoons of pistachio cream, and 5 Tablespoons of your cooled salted honey kataifi (save the rest for garnish!). Blend on high speed for about 30-60 seconds, or until the milkshake is perfectly smooth and wonderfully thick.
  • Assemble and Serve Your Shake: Carefully retrieve your chocolate-lined cup from the freezer. Pour the creamy pistachio chocolate milkshake into the prepared cup. Generously garnish the top with the remaining 5 Tablespoons of crispy salted honey kataifi and 1 Tablespoon of roughly chopped raw pistachios. Serve immediately with a wide straw and a spoon.
