Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 chai tea bags
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 cup cold milk (dairy or your favorite plant-based milk like almond or oat)
  • ice cubes Plenty of

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the 2 chai tea bags, honey, and ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon to the hot water. Cover the pot and let the mixture steep for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to fully develop.
  • Once steeped, remove and discard the tea bags. Let the chai concentrate cool down completely to room temperature. For a quicker iced latte, you can place the pot in an ice bath or refrigerate it until thoroughly chilled.
  • Grab a tall glass and fill it generously with ice cubes. Pour the cooled chai concentrate over the ice.
  • Top the glass with 1 cup of your preferred cold milk. Give it a gentle stir to combine everything. If you like, sprinkle a little extra ground cinnamon on top for a delightful aroma and finishing touch. Sip and enjoy your wonderfully refreshing homemade iced chai latte!

Notes
