In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the 2 chai tea bags, honey, and ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon to the hot water. Cover the pot and let the mixture steep for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to fully develop.
Once steeped, remove and discard the tea bags. Let the chai concentrate cool down completely to room temperature. For a quicker iced latte, you can place the pot in an ice bath or refrigerate it until thoroughly chilled.
Grab a tall glass and fill it generously with ice cubes. Pour the cooled chai concentrate over the ice.
Top the glass with 1 cup of your preferred cold milk. Give it a gentle stir to combine everything. If you like, sprinkle a little extra ground cinnamon on top for a delightful aroma and finishing touch. Sip and enjoy your wonderfully refreshing homemade iced chai latte!
Maple syrup can be used for a vegan option.
