1 3/4cupsfull-fat yogurtGreek yogurt is recommended for a thicker, creamier result, but regular works too!
1/2cupsugar or monk fruit sweetener
1tspvanilla extract
3Oreo cookiescoarsely chopped
extra cookie piecesfor garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Base: In a large liquid measuring cup, combine your chosen yogurt, sugar (or monk fruit sweetener), and vanilla extract. Stir everything together until it's smoothly blended.
Pour & Freeze: Carefully pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and secure the lid tightly. Place the pint on a flat surface in your freezer. Allow it to freeze completely for at least 24 hours to ensure it's rock solid.
First Spin: Once fully frozen, remove the pint from the freezer and take off the lid. Position the pint inside the Ninja Creami's outer bowl, then lock the outer bowl lid into place and secure it onto the machine. Press the "Ice Cream" button (or "Frozen Yogurt" if your model has it) to process.
Re-Spin for Perfection: After the initial cycle, check the texture. If it looks a bit crumbly, simply re-insert the pint and use the "Re-spin" button for a wonderfully smooth consistency.
Add Your Mix-ins: Create a well in the center of your frozen yogurt, about an inch wide and deep enough to reach the bottom of the pint. Add the coarsely chopped Oreo cookies into this well.
Final Blend: Place the pint back into the machine and press the "Mix-in" button. This will perfectly distribute the cookie pieces throughout your frozen yogurt.
Serve & Enjoy: Once the mix-in cycle is complete, your delicious, high-protein cookies and cream frozen yogurt is ready to be scooped and savored! Garnish with additional cookie pieces if you wish.
