Ingredients
  

Popcorn Mixture

  • 3 bags air-popped or light microwave popcorn 3.3 ounces each

Candied Glaze

  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter cut into cubes
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 to 5 drops green food coloring optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 250°F. Pop the popcorn according to the package directions. Divide it between two large bowls and remove any unpopped kernels.
  • In a large, heavy saucepan, mix together the sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Let it boil for 3 minutes while stirring.
  • Take the saucepan off the heat. Stir in the vanilla and the green food coloring. Pour the sticky syrup over the popcorn and toss gently until all the pieces are coated.
  • Spread the coated popcorn in a single layer on greased 15x10x1-inch baking pans. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Remove from the pans and let it cool completely on waxed paper. Break into clusters and store in an airtight container.
