Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls 8 ounces each
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil minced
  • 2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes oil-packed, patted dry and finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Heat your oven to 375°F. Unroll both tubes of crescent dough and separate them into 16 triangles. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, basil, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, and garlic powder until smooth.
  • Spread about 1 teaspoon of this filling along the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll the dough up once towards the point to form the witch hat's brim (the wide end becomes the hat base).
  • Place the rolls 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown, turning the pan halfway through for even color. Let them cool slightly before serving.
