  • Prepare the Cabbage: Carefully slice your cabbage into thick 1-inch "steaks." Don't worry if some pieces come loose; they'll get extra crispy and delicious!
  • Arrange on Baking Sheet: Lightly drizzle a baking sheet with olive oil, then arrange your cabbage slices evenly on top. Sprinkle them with a pinch of salt.
  • Mix the Flavorful Butter: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, smoked paprika, the remaining salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
  • Coat the Cabbage: Generously spoon the flavorful butter mixture over each cabbage steak, spreading it gently to coat every nook and cranny. A pastry brush can make this step super easy!
  • Roast to Perfection: Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-30 minutes. You'll know they're ready when the edges are beautifully golden and crisp, and the centers are wonderfully tender when pierced with a fork.
