Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups Lupini Beans canned, jarred, or vacuum-sealed for convenience
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice for a bright, zesty touch
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil extra virgin recommended for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder adjust to your preferred level of spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt or a little more, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Begin by draining your lupini beans in a colander. Give them a quick rinse under cold water, then pat them thoroughly dry. This step helps remove any extra salt from their brine and ensures they get perfectly crispy!
  • In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the fresh lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Add the dried lupini beans to the bowl and toss everything gently until each bean is nicely coated with the flavorful seasoning.
  • Air Fryer Method (Quick & Crispy): Spread the seasoned beans in a single layer at the bottom of your air fryer basket. Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 10 minutes. Remember to shake or stir them halfway through to ensure they crisp up evenly.
  • Oven Method (Simple & Easy): Arrange the beans in a single layer on a baking sheet. Place them in a preheated oven at 400°F (204°C) and bake for about 15 minutes, giving them a stir halfway through the cooking time.
  • Once cooked and slightly cooled, your wonderfully crispy, zesty, and healthy lupini bean snack is ready to be enjoyed!
