Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Air Fryer
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Parchment Paper
  • Cooking Spray

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets boneless salmon about 6 ounces each
  • Pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup prepared Bang Bang Sauce

Instructions

  • Oven Baked Method:

  • 1. Preheat & Prep: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a small baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray for easy cleanup.
  • 2. Season Salmon: Place the healthy salmon fillets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down if they have skin. Season each fillet with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  • 3. Sauce It Up: Spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of the delicious Bang Bang Sauce over each piece of salmon, spreading it evenly.
  • 4. Bake to Perfection: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. The exact cooking time might vary based on your salmon's thickness, but aim for an internal temperature of 125°F (52°C) for perfectly cooked, flaky salmon.
  • 5. Serve & Enjoy: Remove from the oven, and for an extra burst of flavor, drizzle with a little more Bang Bang Sauce before serving.
  • Air Fryer Method:

  • 1. Prepare Air Fryer: If your air fryer basket isn't non-stick, give it a quick spray with cooking spray or lightly brush with oil.
  • 2. Arrange Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, skin side down. Season them with salt and pepper.
  • 3. Coat with Sauce: Carefully spread about 1 tablespoon of the Bang Bang Sauce over each fillet.
  • 4. Air Fry: Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 10 minutes. Cooking time can vary depending on your air fryer and salmon thickness, so check for an internal temperature of 125°F (52°C).
  • 5. Garnish & Serve: Once cooked, remove the salmon and spoon any remaining creamy sauce over the top. Garnish with sliced green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
