Ingredients

  • 4 boneless salmon fillets about 6 ounces (170g) each
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup prepared Bang Bang Sauce
  • Cooking oil for air fryer (if needed)
  • fresh green onions for serving (optional)
  • sesame seeds for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • Get ready to make delicious Bang Bang Salmon, your way!
  • Oven Baked Method:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a small baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper and lightly coat it with cooking spray for easy cleanup.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if applicable. Season them lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Brush about 1 tablespoon of Bang Bang Sauce generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature should reach 125°F/52°C for medium-rare, or higher if preferred). Cooking time may vary based on fillet thickness.
  • Remove from the oven and spoon any extra Bang Bang Sauce over the cooked salmon for an extra burst of flavor!
  • Air Fryer Method:
  • If your air fryer basket isn't non-stick, give it a quick spray with cooking oil.
  • Arrange the salmon fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Season them with salt and pepper.
  • Coat each fillet with approximately 1 tablespoon of the Bang Bang Sauce.
  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for about 10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your liking (internal temperature of 125°F/52°C). Cooking time can vary depending on fillet thickness and your air fryer model.
  • Once cooked, drizzle any remaining creamy sauce over the salmon before serving.
  • Serve your flavorful Bang Bang Salmon with fresh green onions or a sprinkle of sesame seeds for an extra touch!
