Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Canned cherry pie filling 21-ounce
  • 1 box Chocolate cake mix approximately 15.25 ounces
  • 1 cup Melted butter 2 sticks

Instructions
 

  • Get Ready: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray – this makes for easy cleanup!
  • Layer the Cherries: Pour both cans of cherry pie filling into the prepared dish, spreading them out evenly across the bottom. This creates a wonderfully fruity and moist base.
  • Sprinkle the Cake: Carefully sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the cherry layer. There's no need to stir yet!
  • Drizzle & Swirl: Gently pour the melted butter over the cake mix. Then, using a spoon, lightly swirl the butter and cake mix together just enough to moisten the top layer.
  • Bake to Perfection: Place the dish in your preheated oven and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. The cake will be tender and delicious!
  • Cool & Enjoy: Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes
