Ingredients
- 1 package gelatin mix (3-ounce, any flavor)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 0.5 cup apple-flavored vodka (or your favorite spirit)
- light whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
- decorative sugar (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium, heat-proof bowl, combine your chosen gelatin mix with the boiling water. Whisk continuously until the gelatin crystals are completely dissolved, ensuring a smooth base.
- Carefully stir in the apple-flavored vodka until it's fully blended with the gelatin mixture.
- Arrange small plastic cups or shot glasses on a baking sheet for easy handling. Pour the liquid jello mixture into each cup, filling them about three-quarters full. This leaves a perfect space for optional toppings later.
- Transfer the baking sheet with the filled cups to the refrigerator. Allow them to chill for at least 3 hours, or until the jello is perfectly firm and set.
- Just before serving, get creative with your garnishes! Top each jello shot with a light swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of decorative sugar if desired, customizing them for any occasion.
