Equipment

  • 9x9-inch baking pan
  • Electric Mixer

Ingredients

  • 16 crunchy granola bars (like Nature Valley™ Oats 'n Honey), crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 blocks cream cheese softened (8-ounce each)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14-ounce
  • 1 container extra creamy whipped topping 8-ounce
  • 1/2 tsp pure almond extract
  • 1 tbsp spiced rum or vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup festive red, white, and green nonpareils (sprinkles)
  • Nonstick baking spray

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the crushed granola bars, melted butter, and sugar. Stir everything together until it's well mixed.
  • Press half of this delicious mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking pan, which you've lightly coated with nonstick spray.
  • Now, in a separate mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together the softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, whipped topping, almond extract, and your choice of rum or vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in most of the colorful nonpareils, making sure to save about a teaspoon for a sprinkle on top later.
  • Carefully spread the creamy mixture you just made over the granola bar crust in the pan.
  • Sprinkle the remaining granola bar mixture and the reserved nonpareils evenly over the top.
  • Cover the pan tightly with plastic wrap and pop it into the freezer. Let it freeze for about 4 to 6 hours, or until it's completely firm and ready to slice.
