Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Glass

Ingredients

  • 2 fluid ounces fresh orange juice (1/4 cup) for a bright, healthy tang!
  • 2 fluid ounces cranberry juice unsweetened or low-sugar (1/4 cup)
  • 1.5 fluid ounces vodka (3 tablespoons) optional, for a "tipsy" holiday cheer!
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • splash grenadine just enough for that signature festive red hue!
  • 2 fluid ounces light ginger ale diet 7UP, or diet Sprite (1/4 cup) to keep it fizzy and light!
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary for a natural, fragrant garnish (as reindeer antlers)
  • 1 Maraschino cherry for Rudolph's adorable red nose

Instructions

  • Chill & Combine: Grab your cocktail shaker (or any sturdy glass with a tight-fitting lid). Pour in the fresh orange juice, cranberry juice, vodka (if you're using it), and a full cup of ice. Give it a good, enthusiastic shake for about 15-20 seconds until everything is perfectly mixed and super cold.
  • Pour & Add Color: Strain the chilled mixture into your favorite holiday glass. Now, gently add a small splash of grenadine to the bottom; it will beautifully layer and create that vibrant Rudolph red.
  • Top it Lightly: Carefully pour the light ginger ale (or your chosen diet soda) over the drink. This adds a delightful sparkle and keeps the spritzer feeling crisp and refreshing.
  • Garnish with Glee: For the final, charming touch, place two small sprigs of fresh rosemary into the glass – they look just like reindeer antlers! Then, nestle a bright maraschino cherry in the center to represent Rudolph's famous nose. Serve immediately and let the festivities begin!
