1 1/2poundsGround Pork(or ground beef, chicken, or turkey)
1tablespoonOlive Oil
1smallOnionthinly sliced
3clovesGarlicminced
1tablespoonWhite Vinegar
Instructions
First, in a small bowl, whisk together your paprika, chili powder, cumin, oregano, coriander, salt, and cinnamon. This is your flavorful spice blend!
Next, place your ground pork (or chosen meat) in a large bowl. Add the prepared spice mixture and gently mix by hand until everything is just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep it tender.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers. Add the minced garlic and thinly sliced onions, cooking for about 5 minutes until the garlic is wonderfully fragrant and the onions turn soft and translucent.
Now, add the seasoned pork mixture to the skillet and increase the heat to medium-high. Cook for 7-10 minutes, breaking the meat apart with a spatula until it's fully cooked through and beautifully browned.
Finally, stir in the white vinegar to brighten the flavors. Taste and add a pinch more salt if you like, then serve warm!
