Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Paprika
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Dried Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 pounds Ground Pork (or ground beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 small Onion thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon White Vinegar

Instructions

  • First, in a small bowl, whisk together your paprika, chili powder, cumin, oregano, coriander, salt, and cinnamon. This is your flavorful spice blend!
  • Next, place your ground pork (or chosen meat) in a large bowl. Add the prepared spice mixture and gently mix by hand until everything is just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep it tender.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers. Add the minced garlic and thinly sliced onions, cooking for about 5 minutes until the garlic is wonderfully fragrant and the onions turn soft and translucent.
  • Now, add the seasoned pork mixture to the skillet and increase the heat to medium-high. Cook for 7-10 minutes, breaking the meat apart with a spatula until it's fully cooked through and beautifully browned.
  • Finally, stir in the white vinegar to brighten the flavors. Taste and add a pinch more salt if you like, then serve warm!
