- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup allulose sweetener
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon espresso powder optional, enhances chocolate flavor
- Pinch salt
In a medium saucepan, gently combine the heavy cream, water, allulose sweetener, and butter. Place the saucepan over medium heat.
Warm the mixture to a gentle simmer, whisking continuously until the sweetener is fully dissolved. Continue to simmer and whisk frequently for 5 minutes, making sure it does not come to a full boil.
Carefully remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the finely chopped unsweetened chocolate, vanilla extract, optional espresso powder, and a pinch of salt. Let it rest for 3 minutes to allow the chocolate to melt completely, then whisk until the sauce is wonderfully smooth and glossy.
Serve this delicious and healthy fudge sauce warm over your favorite low-carb desserts like ice cream, brownies, or fresh berries.
