Equipment

  • Large Bowl
  • Microwave-safe Bowl or Double Boiler
  • Rubber Spatula or Wooden Spoon
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 2 cups certified gluten-free Chex mix
  • 2 cups freshly popped popcorn
  • 2 cups gluten-free pretzels (twists or sticks)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted dry roasted peanuts (omit for peanut allergy)
  • 9 ounces dairy-free white chocolate chips
  • 1 Tablespoon naturally refined coconut oil
  • Christmas sprinkles for a festive touch

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, gently mix together the Chex mix, popcorn, pretzels, and peanuts.
  • In a separate microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the white chocolate chips with the coconut oil until smooth and creamy. Heat slowly, stirring often, to prevent scorching.
  • Pour the melted white chocolate mixture over the dry ingredients in the large bowl. Use a rubber spatula or wooden spoon to stir everything gently until all pieces are beautifully coated.
  • Fold in your favorite Christmas sprinkles. For best results, add delicate candy mix-ins after the chocolate has slightly cooled to prevent melting.
  • Spread the coated mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely set and firm.
  • Once firm, break the festive chow into delicious, snackable pieces. Store in an airtight container and enjoy!
