Equipment

  • Large Bowl
  • Hand Mixer
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Microwave-safe Bowl
  • Piping bag

Ingredients

Truffle Base

  • 1 box Little Debbie Vanilla Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
  • 3 tablespoons festive Christmas sprinkles

Coating & Decoration

  • 8 ounces white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 3 tablespoons red candy melts optional, for festive drizzle
  • green sanding sugar for a sparkly touch

Instructions

  • Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large bowl. Use a hand mixer or fork to mash them until they form a crumbly dough.
  • Gently stir in the festive sprinkles until they are well combined throughout the cake mixture.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, roll the cake mixture into 1-inch balls and place them evenly on the prepared sheet.
  • Chill the cake balls in the fridge for at least 10-15 minutes. This step helps them firm up and makes dipping easier.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
  • Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted white chocolate, using a fork to completely coat it. Tap off any excess chocolate and carefully place the coated truffles back onto the baking sheet.
  • If you're adding the decorative drizzle, melt the red candy melts in a separate microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Transfer it to a piping bag or a small Ziploc bag with a tiny corner snipped off.
  • Drizzle the red candy melts over the white chocolate-coated truffles and immediately sprinkle with green sanding sugar before the white chocolate has a chance to set.
  • Return the truffles to the fridge until the chocolate coating is completely set, about 15-20 minutes. Serve and enjoy your delightful holiday treats!
