Equipment

  • Mason jars

Ingredients

  • 20 peppermint candies (disks)
  • 1 bottle unflavored vodka (750 ml)

Instructions

  • Gently unwrap all your peppermint candies and carefully place 10 into each of two clean, empty mason jars.
  • Evenly divide the unflavored vodka between both mason jars, making sure the peppermints are fully submerged.
  • Securely fasten the lids on both jars. Give each jar a light shake and turn it upside down to help the dissolution process begin.
  • Store your jars in the refrigerator for approximately 5 days, or until all the peppermint candies have completely dissolved into the vodka, creating a beautiful infusion.
  • You might notice a thin white layer settling at the bottom of the jars. To ensure a perfectly clear and consistent mixture, simply invert the jars for about an hour, then give them a good shake until everything is well combined.
  • Your homemade peppermint-infused vodka is now ready to be poured and enjoyed responsibly, bringing a refreshing zest to your holiday celebrations!
