1/2cupDry Roasted Peanuts(salted or unsalted, omit for allergies)
9ouncesDairy-Free White Chocolate Chips
1TablespoonRefined Coconut Oil(for a smooth coating without coconut flavor)
Christmas Sprinkles(for a festive touch)
Instructions
Combine the Dry Mix: In a large bowl, gently mix the gluten-free Chex cereal, freshly popped popcorn, pretzels, and peanuts.
Melt the Chocolate: In a separate microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the white chocolate chips with the coconut oil until smooth and creamy. Stir until completely dissolved.
Coat the Mixture: Pour the warm, melted white chocolate over the dry ingredients in the large bowl. Stir carefully with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon until all pieces are evenly coated. Be sure to reach the bottom!
Add Festive Flair: Gently fold in your colorful Christmas sprinkles and any other fun add-ins you desire (like crushed candy canes!). Avoid overmixing, especially with the warm chocolate, to keep sprinkles vibrant.
Chill to Set: Spread the coated mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely set and hardened.
Break and Enjoy: Once firm, break the reindeer chow into bite-sized clusters. Serve immediately or store for a delightful holiday treat!
