Trim the crusts from each bread slice and flatten with a rolling pin.
Spread 1-2 teaspoons of your preferred filling about an inch from one end, then roll the bread tightly. Repeat for all slices.
Whisk the eggs and milk together in a shallow bowl.
In another bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a tablespoon of butter.
Dip each roll in the egg mixture, ensuring it's well coated, then place seam side down in the pan.
Cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side, adding butter as needed.
Once cooked, roll the warm rolls in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve with syrup or enjoy plain!
