Goblin Bites

These spooky and savory Goblin Bites are the perfect appetizer for your next Halloween party. Fun to decorate and delicious to eat!

Ingredients
  

  • 32 wonton wrappers
  • 0.5 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 0.5 pound ground beef
  • 3 cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup whole milk
  • 2-3 tsp ranch salad dressing mix

Decoration

  • sliced ripe olives for eyes
  • radishes sliced, for eyes/mouth
  • green onions sliced, for hair
  • cucumber peel pieces, for ears/horns

Instructions
 

  • Press each wonton wrapper into a mini muffin cup, forming little cups. Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes, until lightly golden.
  • While those bake, cook the sausage and ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain any fat.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cooked meat with shredded cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, and ranch dressing mix.
  • Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling into each baked wonton cup.
  • Return to the oven and bake at 350°F for 5–7 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly, then create funny monster faces using olive slices (eyes), radish slices (mouth), green onions (spiky hair), and cucumber peel (ears or horns). Serve warm.
