- 2 (8 oz.) packages sugar wafer cookies
- 1 (1 lb.) package white candy melts or white bark coating
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- lime green sprinkles
- large heart-shaped sprinkles
Combine the white candy melts (or bark coating) and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl.
Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each, until the mixture is smooth and completely melted.
Carefully dip about three-quarters of each sugar wafer cookie into the melted white chocolate. Let any excess coating drip back into the bowl.
Immediately sprinkle the dipped portion generously with lime green sprinkles.
Place the wafer on a sheet of wax paper. Gently press one large heart-shaped sprinkle onto the white chocolate, slightly off-center, while the coating is still wet.
Allow the wafers to sit at room temperature until the chocolate coating is firm, which should only take a few minutes.
Repeat this process with all remaining sugar wafers.
Store these festive treats in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
