  • 18 mini chocolate chips
  • 3 chocolate chips (regular)

Candy Corn Strawberries

  • 1 lb strawberries
  • 4 oz yellow candy coating
  • 8 oz orange candy coating
  • 12 oz white candy coating

Kiwi Frankensteins

  • 6 kiwis
  • 12 mini chocolate chips

  • 6 pretzel sticks (thin)

Monster Apples

  • 2 green apples
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 32 sunflower seeds
  • 3 strawberries sliced
  • candy googly eyes

Instructions

  • Banana Ghosts: Cut bananas in half. Gently press two mini chocolate chips in for eyes and one regular chip for a mouth.
  • Candy Corn Strawberries: Line a tray with wax paper. Melt white candy coating in 30-second microwave bursts. Dip each strawberry (leave green top) almost to the top; let excess drip off, then set on paper. Chill 10 minutes.
  • Repeat with yellow coating – dip each strawberry about 2/3 of the way up. Chill again. Finally, dip the bottom tip into melted orange coating (about 1/3 of the strawberry). Chill until set.
  • Kiwi Frankensteins: Cut one end off each kiwi. Peel about 2/3 of the kiwi (leave peel on top for hair). Push a thick pretzel stick into each side for bolts. Press two mini chocolate chips in for eyes, and a small piece of thin pretzel for the mouth.
  • Monster Apples: Quarter apples and remove core. Cut a small slot in the center for the mouth. Spread peanut butter inside. Press sunflower seeds in for teeth, place a strawberry slice inside for the tongue. Stick candy eyes on top with a dab of peanut butter.
  • Arrange everything on a platter and serve immediately.
