  • In a medium bowl, gently combine the melted butter with the crushed graham cracker crumbs using a fork. Make sure every crumb is lightly coated; this creates a sturdy, delicious base.
  • Press the crumb mixture evenly into a 9-inch pie dish. Start by flattening with your hand, then use the bottom of a kitchen glass to press firmly from the center outwards and up the sides for a neat finish. Set this aside.
  • In a large saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, and salt over low heat. Gradually drizzle in the water, whisking continuously until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
  • Add half of your fresh, vibrant blueberries to the saucepan. Bring this mixture to a gentle boil, then continue cooking and stirring for about 2 minutes, until it visibly thickens into a beautiful berry sauce. Remove from heat and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Once the blueberry mixture has cooled, delicately fold in the remaining fresh blueberries. Pour this wonderful filling into your prepared graham cracker crust.
  • Carefully place the pie in the refrigerator to chill and set for a minimum of 2 hours. This step is crucial for perfect slices!
  • Before serving, generously top each slice with a dollop of light and airy whipped cream, or enjoy it as is for a simpler treat!
