In a large bowl, combine the ground pork with the chopped fresh sage, granular erythritol sweetener, maple extract, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Use your hands to gently but thoroughly mix everything together until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Divide the seasoned pork mixture into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then gently flatten it into a patty, aiming for about 1 inch thick.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. If your pan isn't non-stick, add a tiny bit of oil or butter to prevent sticking.
Carefully place the patties into the hot skillet. Cook for approximately 3 to 4 minutes on each side until they are nicely browned and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) when checked with an instant-read thermometer. Serve immediately for a delicious and easy meal!
