Homemade Peach Iced Tea

Sweet, juicy peaches blend perfectly with refreshing brewed tea.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 cups water for brewing tea
  • 6 teabags tea black or green tea
  • 1.5 cups sugar or sweetener
  • 2-3 fresh peaches peaches, diced or 2-3 cups frozen

Instructions
 

  • Boil 12 cups of water in a large pot.
  • Remove from heat, add tea bags, and steep for 5-7 minutes.
  • Discard tea bags after steeping.
  • In a saucepan, mix 1 ½ cups water and 1 ½ cups sweetener over medium heat until dissolved.
  • Add diced peaches, mashing them into the syrup, and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cool the tea and pour it into a pitcher.
  • Strain the peach syrup into the tea, stir, and adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Serve chilled or over ice.
