  • 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough (16.5-ounce)
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup white chocolate chips
  • 12 mini pretzels
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows or marshmallow bits

  • Prepare the Cookie Cups: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease 24 mini muffin cups. Scoop about one tablespoon of sugar cookie dough into each cup. For an extra touch and to help prevent sticking, you can roll the dough balls in a little granulated sugar beforehand. Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are golden. Let them cool completely in the muffin pan before gently taking them out. The cookies will naturally form a 'cup' as they cool, perfect for filling!
  • Make the Chocolate Ganache: Next, prepare your rich chocolate ganache. In a small saucepan, bring the heavy cream to a gentle boil. Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa powder until well combined. Place the dark chocolate chips in a heat-proof bowl, then pour the hot cream mixture over them. Let it sit undisturbed for 3 minutes to allow the chocolate to melt. After 3 minutes, stir gently until the chocolate chips are fully melted and you have a beautifully smooth, glossy ganache.
  • Attach Pretzel Handles: Time for the adorable handles! Carefully break off the looped ends of your mini pretzels to create small handle shapes. Gently melt the white chocolate (you can use a microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, or a double boiler). Dip one end of each pretzel handle into the melted white chocolate and press it onto the side of a cooled cookie cup. Let them set for a few minutes.
  • Assemble and Serve: Finally, the fun part! Spoon a generous amount of the cooled chocolate ganache into each cookie cup. Garnish with a sprinkle of mini marshmallows. For a firmer ganache, you can briefly chill the finished cookie cups in the fridge. Serve and enjoy these delightful treats!
