  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • Pepper to taste (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes. In a small bowl, mix all your delicious spices (garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper) together.
  • Lightly brush both sides of your chicken breasts with avocado or olive oil. Then, generously sprinkle the spice mix you just made all over them, ensuring they are fully coated for maximum flavor.
  • Carefully place the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Cook them at 375°F (190°C) for 18-20 minutes, making sure to flip them over halfway through for even cooking and a beautiful golden crust.
  • For perfectly safe and juicy chicken, use an instant-read meat thermometer to check the thickest part of the chicken. You're looking for an internal temperature between 155°F and 160°F (68°C to 71°C).
  • Once cooked, transfer the chicken breasts to a plate and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This resting time is key to lock in all those juices and allows the chicken to reach a safe internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
