Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh broccoli florets
  • 0.5 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.75 cup heavy cream
  • 2 ounces light cream cheese softened
  • 4 cups cooked chicken breast chopped or shredded
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 8 slices crispy cooked bacon chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Get your oven ready by preheating it to 400°F (200°C).
  • Broccoli Base: Spread the fresh broccoli florets evenly in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Creamy Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, softened light cream cheese, dried parsley, dill, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Add Fillings: Gently stir in the cooked, chopped chicken breast, about 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese, and most of the chopped crispy bacon into the creamy mixture. Save a little bacon for the top if you like!
  • Assemble Casserole: Pour the chicken and cream mixture over the broccoli in the baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Top & Bake: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and any reserved bacon over the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly, and the cheese is melted and golden. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
