Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup powdered Swerve Sweetener (or other powdered erythritol blend)
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored collagen peptides
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ginger, or cardamom (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Combine the almond milk and heavy whipping cream in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Gently warm the mixture until it just begins to simmer, then take it off the heat.
  • Add the finely chopped unsweetened chocolate and let it melt for a few minutes.
  • Whisk in the powdered sweetener, collagen peptides, vanilla extract, and your chosen spice (if using) until everything is wonderfully smooth.
  • Put the saucepan back on the heat and bring it to a gentle simmer again. This helps it warm up and thicken beautifully.
  • Pour this rich, healthy drinking chocolate into three small cups.
