Ingredients
  

  • 6 sticks mozzarella sticks halved
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk the egg until well combined.
  • In another bowl, mix almond flour, parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and sea salt.
  • Place coconut flour in a third bowl.
  • Cut mozzarella sticks in half to create 12 pieces.
  • Coat each piece in coconut flour, dip in the egg, and roll in the almond flour mixture.
  • Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F and fry the sticks until golden brown, just a few minutes.
  • Drain on paper towels or a wire rack.
