Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

For the Filling

  • 1 pound Ground Beef 16 ounces
  • 0.5 medium Onion thinly sliced
  • 1 Bell Pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper freshly ground, to taste

For the Wraps

  • 2 cups Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese

Instructions

  • Get your oven ready by preheating it to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef with the sliced onion and bell pepper until the beef is fully browned and the veggies are tender. Make sure to drain any extra fat to keep it healthy.
  • Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper into the beef mixture. Keep stirring until the cream cheese is smooth and totally melted, creating a rich, savory filling.
  • On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, arrange the shredded Monterey Jack cheese into 8 even circles. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy, forming delicate cheese "wraps."
  • Once out of the oven, let the cheese circles cool for just a minute or two. While they are still warm and flexible, spoon a generous amount of your delicious beef filling onto each cheese circle.
  • Gently roll up each cheese circle around the filling. Let them cool completely to set into perfect, portable roll-ups before enjoying this tasty, low-carb treat!
