- 1 pound natural ground Italian sausage
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground sausage and onions until the meat is browned and the onions are tender. Drain any excess grease.
Remove from heat and mix in the cream cheese until melted.
Stir in the ricotta and Parmesan cheese, then set aside to cool.
Shape the mozzarella into 8 equal circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 6-8 minutes until the edges are golden and crispy.
Let cool for a minute, then add a layer of filling to the center of each cheese circle.
Carefully fold the cheese over the filling. Allow the roll-ups to cool and crisp before serving.
