Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound natural ground Italian sausage
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground sausage and onions until the meat is browned and the onions are tender. Drain any excess grease.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the cream cheese until melted.
  • Stir in the ricotta and Parmesan cheese, then set aside to cool.
  • Shape the mozzarella into 8 equal circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 6-8 minutes until the edges are golden and crispy.
  • Let cool for a minute, then add a layer of filling to the center of each cheese circle.
  • Carefully fold the cheese over the filling. Allow the roll-ups to cool and crisp before serving.
