Instructions
Place the roasted hazelnuts into a food processor or a high-powered blender. Process until they are finely ground and just starting to clump together, forming a coarse meal.
Add 2 tablespoons of your chosen oil to the ground hazelnuts. Continue processing. The nuts will gradually release their natural oils and transform into a creamy, smooth hazelnut butter. Be patient, this step might take a few minutes!
Now, add the cocoa powder, Swerve sweetener, collagen (if you're using it), vanilla extract, salt, and the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil. Process everything again until the mixture is perfectly smooth, luscious, and well combined.
If you desire an even smoother or thinner consistency, simply add a tiny bit more oil (a teaspoon at a time) and process again. Taste your homemade Nutella and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding a little more Swerve. Transfer to an airtight jar and store in the fridge!
