Ingredients
  

Meatloaf Base

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Glaze

  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, mix the beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, Italian seasoning, onion, garlic, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper until everything is evenly combined.
  • Lightly oil a 9x5-inch loaf pan, press the meat mixture into it, then turn it upside down onto a baking sheet or 9x13-inch pan to release the loaf.
  • Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F on a meat thermometer.
  • While it bakes, whisk together the ketchup and BBQ sauce for the glaze.
  • Spread the glaze evenly over the baked meatloaf, then return it to the oven for another 10–15 minutes until the glaze is caramelized.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
