Equipment

  • Large skillet

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Large Shrimp peeled and deveined with tails removed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 3 cups Napa Cabbage chopped
  • 1/2 lemon fresh Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, preparing it for a quick cook.
  • Season your shrimp generously with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Place the seasoned shrimp into the hot skillet and sear them until they are beautifully browned and fully cooked through. Once done, remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
  • Lower the heat to medium, then add the butter to the skillet, letting it melt into a fragrant base. Stir in the chopped onions and sauté them gently until they become wonderfully soft and translucent.
  • Introduce the chopped napa cabbage to the skillet, mixing it with the softened onions. Continue to sauté for just a few minutes until the cabbage begins to wilt and soften.
  • Pour in the fresh lemon juice, stirring it through the cabbage to infuse a bright, zesty flavor.
  • Finally, return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, tossing everything together briefly to warm through. Serve this vibrant dish immediately for a delightful meal!
