  • Preheat Oven: Get your oven ready by preheating it to 325°F (160°C). You won't need to grease your baking sheet for these cookies.
  • Cream Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, or using a stand mixer, beat together the softened butter (or coconut oil) and ½ cup of powdered sugar until the mixture is light, fluffy, and perfectly creamy. This is key for that delightful melt-in-your-mouth texture!
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, gently stir together your chosen flour and the finely chopped nuts. If you're going nut-free, just use the flour.
