Ingredients
  

Mummies

  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls 8 ounces
  • 20 miniature hot dogs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • Dijon mustard for eyes

Dip

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to form two rectangles.
  • Cut each rectangle into 10 thin strips.
  • Wrap one strip around each mini hot dog, leaving a small gap near the top for the mummy's eyes.
  • Place the wrapped mummies on a baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  • Whisk the egg with water and brush the mixture lightly over the tops of each mummy.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 10–15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and add two small dots of Dijon mustard for eyes.
  • While they bake, mix together the dip ingredients in a small bowl. Serve the mummies warm with the dip on the side.
