Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup salted butter (1 stick)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder (preferably Dutch process)
  • 4 cups quick oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter

Instructions
 

  • Gently combine milk, butter, sugar, and cocoa powder in a large saucepan. Heat over high, stirring occasionally, until the mixture reaches a rolling boil – this creates our rich chocolatey base!
  • Immediately remove the pan from the heat to stop cooking.
  • Stir in the wholesome quick oats, pure vanilla extract, and creamy peanut butter. Mix thoroughly with a spatula until everything is beautifully combined and glossy.
  • Allow the mixture to cool down for a few minutes until it's no longer hot to the touch and comfortable to handle. Then, scoop and shape into delicious cookie mounds of your desired size on a sheet of parchment paper.
  • Chill your tempting treats in the refrigerator for at least one hour to set them firmly. Once chilled, simply serve and savor!
