Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, take your very cold heavy whipping cream and beat it with an electric mixer until firm, stiff peaks form. This means when you lift the beaters, the cream holds its shape beautifully. Set this fluffy cloud aside for later.
  • In a separate medium bowl, combine your softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar. Beat them together until the mixture is wonderfully smooth and completely lump-free.
  • Now, stir in the pure vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and your optional red food coloring into the cream cheese mixture. Mix until the color is evenly distributed and all the delicious flavors are perfectly blended.
  • Gently fold in ½ cup of your crushed peppermint candy into the cream cheese mixture. This adds a delightful textural surprise in every single bite!
