Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper chopped
  • 2 tsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. combined seasoning mix (Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Black Pepper)
  • 10 oz. Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies can
  • 3 Cups Cabbage chopped
  • 10 oz. Beef Broth low sodium recommended
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the lean ground beef with the chopped onion and green bell pepper until the meat is fully cooked and vegetables are tender.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Carefully drain any excess fat from the skillet to keep the dish lighter.
  • Add the Worcestershire sauce, the seasoning mix (garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper), and salt to your taste preference. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  • Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine all the delicious flavors.
  • Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, then cover with a lid. Reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 20 minutes, allowing the cabbage to soften and absorb the flavors.
  • Remove the lid, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, and cook briefly until the cheese is beautifully melted and creamy. Serve hot and enjoy!
