- 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 1 Green Bell Pepper chopped
- 2 tsp. Minced Garlic
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. combined seasoning mix (Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Black Pepper)
- 10 oz. Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies can
- 3 Cups Cabbage chopped
- 10 oz. Beef Broth low sodium recommended
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Salt to taste
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the lean ground beef with the chopped onion and green bell pepper until the meat is fully cooked and vegetables are tender.
Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Carefully drain any excess fat from the skillet to keep the dish lighter.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, the seasoning mix (garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper), and salt to your taste preference. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine all the delicious flavors.
Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, then cover with a lid. Reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 20 minutes, allowing the cabbage to soften and absorb the flavors.
Remove the lid, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, and cook briefly until the cheese is beautifully melted and creamy. Serve hot and enjoy!
This One-Pan Cheesy Beef & Cabbage Skillet is a simple and delicious low-carb meal perfect for a busy weeknight. Adjust seasonings to your preference.
